Riccardo Perrone was born in 1954 in Italy. He had in his youth a five year education of art at the Istituto Statale d’Arte di Firenze and he is qualified there. He is living and working at San Gimignano in Siena in Italy. Riccardo Perrone has had many private and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad from the 1980′s and international exhibitions in Koln ( Germany ), Erfurt ( Germany ), Praga ( Republic of Czech ), Linz ( austria ), Salzburg ( Austria ), Vienna ( Austria ). In many cities mentioned above, he has had several exhibitions during the past years. From the beginning of the year 2009 a permanent exhibition of Riccardo Perrone is established in Helsinki.

Riccardo Perrone had earlier an atelier in Florence and his painting are sold to private and public collections all over the world. In Finland his paintings have got plenty of new admirers.

Riccardo Perrone is a master of colour and rhythm. He doesn’t give any titles to his paintings. He wants to give the spectator a possibility to feel free to decide on the message of the painting. Riccardo Perrone says that good art awakes emotions and that is what he is driving at.

” Senza Titolo – molto da dire ” ( ” NO title – a lot to tell ” ) is the title of the exhibition of Riccardo Perrone in the National Museum of Finland during the week of the Italian language celebrated worldwide.
